The best earrings for Starter, Sleeper and Healing are created in one piece and are located at the top. Earrings best suited for healed piercings have dangles or have stones epoxy set onto a post and are located further down on the page. 4 Extra Medical Plastic Clutches
Small Clear Medical PVC Plastic Clutches, are comfortable and hypo-allergenic.
Get some extra to have on hand as they do wear out over time.
HEALING PRODUCTS
1 packet of All Natural 100% Sea Salt from the Dead Sea AND either of: 1 vial 100% Coconut Oil -OR- 1 foil pack of Vitamins A&D Ointment (Petroleum Jelly) These are the only products that I recommend for healing pierced ears. These products are available in health food stores -or- trial sized packages available here.
Sea Salt Water sooths itching, can be used as often as desired, and is recommended for a minimum of twice daily cleaning regimen while healing. It can be mixed into a small spray bottle and used away from home.
A&D Ointment (lubicant) is best to protect cracked, seeping, swollen, or bleeding skin because it is not obsorbed. You can put it on and it will stay on protecting until you wash it off.
Coconut Oil (lubricant) is very easily obsorbed into the skin and is the recommendation if just a little lubrication is required. When lubrication is no longer required, it is best to allow the air to flow unobstructed.
Below are earrings designed for healed piercings because they may be too bulky for sleeping in, or they may be made of a surgical implant grade Titanium.
Titanium 2mm Gemstone Bezel Set Earrings.
Tiny little 2mm Gemstones set in Titanium Bezel Settings. Available Unanodized (silver-tone) or Anodized Golden.
